This addresses how to use a profit function (a two-variable objective function) within the broader context of linear programming. It has students practice converting feasible regions into systems of inequalities, finding vertices of feasible regions, and using profit functions to determine maximum profit values. A partial answer key is made available as well as access to six instructional videos that tackle all the steps with linear programming problems.

Students are given graphs of linear inequalities and are asked to determine an inequality for each graph. This activity involves knowing the difference between dashed and solid lines as well as shading.
