Use these notes to introduce or review finding the volume of rectangular and triangular prisms. This resource includes a notes page, practice problems, and answer keys.
Use these notes to introduce or review finding the surface areas of rectangular and triangular prisms. For rectangular prisms, three methods for finding the surface area are included (formula, nets, and heart method). These notes are three pages long and an answer key is included.
Students will learn and practice classifying three-dimensional figures including prisms, pyramids, and polyhedrons. Students will also learn how to identify the parts of a three-dimensional figure (faces, edges, vertices). Answer key is included.
Use these notes to introduce students to finding the area of trapezoids. Students will also learn how to find missing measurements (i.e. height when given both bases and area). For upper middle grades, use these notes as a mini-lesson refresher before finding composite area.
Use these notes to introduce students to finding the area of circles. Students will also learn how to find missing measurements (i.e. radius and/or diameter). The notes begin with a warm up to review squaring numbers and finding the square root.
Use these notes to introduce students to finding the circumference of circles. Students will also learn how to find missing measurements (i.e. radius and/or diameter).
