Experience

I am a mathematics educator with over 10 years of experience working with elementary and lower secondary students. Throughout my teaching career, I have focused on building strong number sense. In addition to classroom teaching, I design structured, standards-aligned worksheets that help students practice skills step by step while maintaining engagement through visual models and real-life contexts. My background in structured planning and curriculum development allows me to create resources that are both practical and classroom-ready.

Teaching style

My teaching style is like an older sister guiding a younger one — supportive, patient, and honest. I believe students learn best when they feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. Instead of overwhelming them, I break lessons into clear, manageable steps and explain concepts in simple, everyday language. I focus on: Clear explanations without unnecessary complexity Step-by-step progression Encouraging confidence and independence Making learning feel approachable, not intimidating I don’t rush. I guide. The goal is not just to finish the lesson, but to truly understand it.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my proudest teaching moments is seeing a student look at their own work and say, “I did it.” Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence — and seeing them feel proud of solving a problem on their own — is the most rewarding part of teaching. I value progress over perfection. When students realize they are capable, their mindset changes. That shift — from doubt to belief — is the true achievement in my classroom. For me, success is not just about correct answers. It’s about building confidence, resilience, and self-trust.
