Experience

I am a high school math teacher with 17 years of experience. I have used curricula such as Prentice Hall, Big Ideas, and Sullivan, and currently teach with Illustrative Mathematics. My teaching blends procedural fluency with conceptual understanding through group work, exploration, and discussion, while supporting social-emotional learning and student confidence. All resources are classroom-tested and teacher-created.

Teaching style

I believe in showing students where to look but not what to see. Learning math can be as much about memorization as it is about personal discovery.
