One of the best activities if you set it up correctly. Students are creating their own mystery number problems, and the rest of the class will solve them. I call it a scavenger hunt with my students, but I call almost everything in which they are getting out of their seats a scavenger hunt. Leave yourself time to check the mystery number problems that the students create. The activity is only as good as the clarity of their problems.
