I love starting the year with students completing a Mathography as it helps to get to know them better. I used to included allergies as well as preferred pronouns on here, but I will let you decide if you want or need to add those options. I keep these and refer to them throughout the year, especially the favorites section when I feel like a kid needs a boost.
This is a great review sheet for students to practice solving quadratic equations, with a word problem where they will need to multiply binomials. Students can use any method to solve. However, these were selected for a variety of factorable equations. You may want to remind students to set equations to zero whether they factor or use the quadratic formula.
This is a two-part activity. First, students graph 8 different linear inequalities. Then they match it up with graphed linear inequalities to find the right answer, or to correct their mistake. I recommend handing out one page at a time unless you want students to focus only on writing linear inequalities when given a pre-made graph.
