Experience

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, which provided me with a solid foundation in problem solving and critical thinking. Following my graduation, I worked in the aviation industry as an aircraft mechanic apprentice at for two years, applying my engineering knowledge to ensure aircraft safety and efficiency. Transitioning into education, I now work as a teacher in an Open Inclusive Class, where I assist students with learning difficulties, focusing primarily on math and English.

Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in providing clear, structured explanations and creating an inclusive learning environment. I focus on helping students build a strong foundational understanding of key concepts before progressing to more complex topics. I value adaptability, tailoring my approach to the unique needs of each student, especially those with learning difficulties. I draw inspiration from various educational methods, including the Singapore Math Method, which emphasizes mastery through a concrete-pictorial-abstract approach. This method encourages students to first understand math concepts with hands-on materials, then visualize them with pictures, and finally work with abstract symbols and numbers. I believe this approach allows for deeper understanding and promotes confidence in problem-solving.
