Unit 1 in the Common Core Algebra class is made up of several topics. This is a concise review of each standard. Each standard is listed, with an explanation and example problems. The following pages are practice problems for the students. This is specifically for GSE Algebra 1; however, it follows the common core standards.

This activity allows the students to get out of their seats and "race" to complete each station. Students work together in small groups. I usually print 5 copies of each station to give the students room to see the problems. After a group completes one race, they bring me the answer sheet and I stamp it, if it is correct or tell them which problems need to be fixed. This activity allows students to review by racing other groups to complete the math stations. Each station contains review problems from Unit 1 in the Common Core Coordinate Algebra class.
