Mathonerder

Students will complete 6 problems to create a Thanksgiving Art Picture. Each answer will reveal part of the picture. The picture is complete when the student has answered all 6 questions correctly. Skills cover converting mixed numbers to decimals.

Students create their "perfect day" using a template. They will practice their skills on changing fractions to decimals to percents. Targeted for personalized learning.

This activity reviews multiple skills involving fractions, including finding a common denominator, comparing, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.  Students will roll a die/dice to create 2 fractions (recommended to work in partners where each partner takes turns rolling a fraction). Students then record their 2 fractions in the first column and use the 2 fractions to complete the rest of the row. This process continues until the worksheet is complete.
