The Mathovations Shoppe is the creation of Sarah Duarte, a native of Cleveland Ohio, a proud mother of a teenaged boy with a 4.0 GPA, and a cat mom. She is also a graduate from the University of Akron with a BA of Arts in Journalism and firm advocate that learning never stops. Her favorite activities are going to ANY zoo and seeing ANY animal that looks like it should be cuddled and given cookies.

Teaching style
In my parental duties I consider myself to be a demonstrator, facilitator and lecturer hybrid. I have had success demonstrating so I mix "actions speak louder than words" with explanations.
My own education history
I attended the University of Akron, Akron Ohio from 1992 - 2000. I majored in Mass Media Communications which is Journalism, and I minored in Sales & Marketing Technology. Since then, I have had a passion for helping others learn new things that help them succeed in life. I never had the opportunity to become a teacher, but I do enjoy any opportunity to lead students into new ideas and help them learn to think for themselves.
