Fun and engaging activity to use with any subject. This particular activity has to do with exponents. Students work in cooperative groups. They receive mail from a variety of countries. They must answer the mail (questions to do with exponents). DIRECTIONS: Students rotate around room in cooperative groups to six different stations. Each station has a puzzle the students put together. Each puzzle has to do with a movie title. Once the puzzle is together the students can flip over the pieces to solve the two problems about that particular movie on the back. Students should place all their answers on the Movie Mania Puzzle Answer Sheet.

THIS IS AN ACTIVITY WHERE STUDENTS SOLVE A VARIETY OF MATH PROBLEMS (CONVERTING MEASUREMENT, WORD PROBLEMS, AND UNDERSTANDING MATH NUMBERS). PLACE THE TEN PROBLEMS AROUND THE ROOM. THE STUDENTS WILL MOVE AROUND THE ROOM TO SOLVE EACH PROBLEM. THEY WILL PLACE THEIR ANSWER ON THE ANSWER SHEET. THE STUDENTS CHOOSE FROM THREE ANSWERS.
