Subitizing (dot pattern) PowerPoint Quiz
Dot patterns ( 1 to 10 ) flash for a fraction of a second. The object is to recognise the number of dots. Patterns range from the familiar (eg dice patterns) to combinations.

Tens buddies (PowerPoint Quiz)
Students complete a PowerPoint quiz requiring them to find numbers which add to 10. Each question has a 4 second time limit. Nine questions must be answered correctly in a row in order to complete the quiz. Good for a whole class or small group activity as well.
