I post a quote of the day everyday in my classroom. I am a middle school math teacher so keep in mind that some of these are geared towards math and most of them towards middle schoolers. For example, the week the Hunger Games movie came I had quotes from that movie. I have everything from Albert Einstein to Justin Bieber :)
Enjoy!
This is a simple worksheet for students to practice solving multi step equations. There are problems that cover combining like terms, distributive property and sometimes both! Enjoy :)
I used this activity in my class at the beginning of the year. It helped me to learn their names and had the kids doing math at the same time.
In the large box at the top the students write their name and decorate it how they'd like. Then the students use their first and last name and create a fraction for the number of vowels and consonants. After they figure that out (and simplify the fractions, of course) they have to change it into a decimal and a percent.
This was a great activity to do
