Looking for a fun and challenging project using Scale and Measurement? Well, look no further! This project has it all! In this project students must: -Research measurements of a tiny house -Create an accurate and sensible scale -Brainstorm ideas for items tailored to clientele -Research measurements of items to include in their tiny house -Fill out a table with original measurements and scaled measurements (to the nearest 16th inch) -Design a blueprint with accurate measurements -Create a scale
In this fun worksheet students will use the angle addition postulate and angle bisectors to solve a variety of problems. There are (6) angle addition problems. (2) of these involve solving for a variable. There are (4) angle bisector problems. (2) of these involve solving for a variable. Students will use their answers that correspond to letters to decode the joke at the bottom of the worksheet! Use as homework, an activity, or as a reinforcement worksheet!
Worksheet that allows students to practice simple translations along vectors. Can be used as homework, reinforcement, or extra practice. So much fun packed into a worksheet! Students must write the following conditional statements Original Conditional StatementConverseInverseContrapositiveThen, they must determine whether each statement is true or false. Each statement's T/F answer corresponds to a facial feature that students must draw on pumpkins. Your students will love this activity! Can be used as homework, an activity, or a reinforcement worksheet!
In this interactive Google Slides DRAG and DROP activity, students will prove geometric relationships using 2 column proof format. This activity has (1) proof with some information already inputted, and (3) blank proofs. As a bonus: included is a page of application drag and drop problems which can be deleted before sharing with students if not wanted! Includes all keys. Concepts covered include: Segment Addition PostulateSegment BisectorDefinition of MidpointTransitive PropertyAngle BisectorD
This is a simple Dilation on the Coordinate Plane Worksheet/Activity. It includes dilating a simple trapezoid on the coordinate plane. -1 Dilation of a Whole Number Scale Factor -1 Dilation of a Fractional Scale Factor Check out my other resources from the Dilation and Scale Unit!
This is a HANDS ON Activity! Students use playdoh to construct 3d objects. They then cut the playdoh to visually discover what a vertical and horizontal cross section look like! This activity has students construct 10 3d objects and draw 20 Cross sections. This activity is great for all types of learners and greatly helps with conceptual understanding!

This google form quiz presents students with a figure and has them complete a proof. For each argument, students must choose a statement and then a reason. 10 questions, 30 points
Students will need to find measurements of both Minor Arcs and Major Arcs in the activity. They will use the measures to find scrambled letters located in a table. Then, they must unscramble the letters to discover a phrase!
This activity features SEVEN different guided problems of π/6, π/4, π/3 ACTIVITY. This is a guided activity, so students are required to do steps and check off a checklist. They must show all their calculations in the correct box. The idea of this activity is to NOT use the trig functions on a calculator. This is also great algebra practice, it also serves as a proof for the calculations of sin, cos, tan of π/6, π/4, and π/3. In this packet, I have provided DETAILED KEYS and explanations for ea

This worksheet/activity really packs a punch! Two worksheets in ONE! Thanksgiving Create a Picture (Thanksgiving Dinner) and Message Decoder. Students answer questions about scale factor to make choices for their Thanksgiving Dinner....and then they draw it on a PLATE! So fun! For the Message Decoder, students fill out a table either identify original measurement, scale measurement, or scale factor. They use their answers to decode a secret message! Check out other products from my Scale Fact
