Teaching style

Hi, I'm Kadi. I'm a mathematician and a homeschooling mom of four. I am passionate about math and homeschool so Math Sprouts was born when I couldn't find any math curriculum that didn't just copy public school math pedagogy at home. There are so many branches of mathematics that are never taught in school, but are easy enough for kids as young as five to start learning about. Homeschooling allows for more time and space to learn math concepts that are different than those deemed "most important" by school boards. Here at Math Sprouts, I'm creating mathematical unit studies for homeschoolers and the classroom that sprout interest in many different types of math (not just algebra!!) This way your young learners can find which areas of math they enjoy best, and hopefully then grow those little sprouts into beautiful trees!
