Teaching style

My teaching style blends structure with creativity. I believe all students can succeed in math when given clear, step-by-step instruction paired with opportunities to explore and apply what they’ve learned. My Algebra 1 resources are designed to support a wide range of learners including those who need extra scaffolding to those ready for enrichment. I incorporate visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive elements that make abstract concepts easier to grasp. I also incorporate a balance of procedural fluency and conceptual understanding to ensure students develop proficiency of each standard.

My own education history

I have been teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry for five years. I have a Master's degree in Educational Technology and Instructional Design and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education.
