Students are given photographs of 10 ecosystems. They are required to match the name label to the correct photograph. Students must then match the paragraph of features to the correct photograph. Can be used at the beginning of a unit to demonstrate pre-knowledge or at the end of a unit to assess learning.

Students are given a set of data to show how shadow length is affected by the time of day. Students are required to put the data into a bar chart and then answer the given questions to demonstrate their understanding of the data. Questions include a sentence starter for less able students.
