A Simple "Quiet Please" sign.

A simple sign that reads QUIET PLEASE. I believe that you can't make peace be creating wars, and you can't make silence by adding more noise. I started using these signs in my classroom and it makes classroom management very easy. Mount it on cardboard, laminate it if you'd like, and hold it up. Make eye contact with students who're having trouble quieting down. Makes for a really nice classroom culture.

Teaching style

I'm a project based technology teacher. I strongly that students inherently want to express themselves creatively with new technology. I give the kids small bits of orientation in new software. I believe kids can teach themselves technology, and I create the environment for them to be able to teach each other new skills. My job is to structure the storytelling the design lessons in the projects. Technology is ubiquitous. The creative expression is whats important. Many of my lessons are "me" centric. Kids live online to express who they are. Teaching technology while letting students express themselves is perfect for this generation.
