I have taught Fourth and Fifth Grades for twenty years. I also have my Principal Licensure, which I hope to use one day. I started out as a Sign Language Interpreter for pre-school hearing impaired students. I then returned to school to obtain my Masters in Education, and shortly thereafter became a classroom teacher.

Interactive Multiplication Lesson
This flipchart allows teachers to model multiplication using the lattice method. In addition, the students can create & solve their own multiplication problems in the same flipchart. It was created using ActivInspire software. It can be used whole class, or individually on student computer workstations.

Experience

Teaching style
I like to use a hands on approach for most lessons. In addition, I try to create digital lessons, using ActivInspire software, that allow all students to be successful. The students can use interactive tools imbedded in the lesson to achieve proficiency on the standards.
