I have been in the education field for 30 years in both the private and public sectors. I have taught grades 2-5 and was also an adjunct professor for pre-service teachers. For the past 15 years, I have been a mathematics coach serving grades PK-5. I provide PD for teachers in a variety of settings and on a variety of topics, provide classroom support, and write and revise curriculum and assessment documents.

Jelly Bean Number Bonds
Students sort jelly beans using a colorful mat and compare different pairs of colors. This activity also includes jelly bean themed number bonds to add color combinations. There is a blank number bond template included for differentiation. Another activity has students tell how many more of each color is needed to make ten.
