I use individual folders in my theatre class for middle schoolers. One the of the documents in the folder is an Absent or Errand Log. Any time spent outside of class needs to be logged and acknowledged by the teacher’s signature. The purpose of this form is not to penalize, but to record behavior to be used in parent conferences, grade and behavior conversations in the future. It's important to me that I'm tracking student behavior and time spent outside of my classroom.
