My primary goal is to empower my students in my classroom. To provide a safe space where they can take risks learning math and never be afraid to ask questions. My primary message to my students is that they are exactly where they need to be - if they already knew everything from the class they were in, then they wouldn't need me! I stress that learning is a process that never ends, and that hard work, persistence, and effort is the highest indicator of success.
