I am always looking for ways to help my ELL students. This is a wonderful way to get them and also their parents involved. When I had the competition, all of the students were included. They really loved this project and want to have a competition for this year.
This thematic unit is based on everyday products. I want to help students realize that in order to have things like T-shirts, a lot of work has to happen. I want them to be curious about the world around them and know where every day things come from. From cotton to t-shirt, this unit takes the student on a journey from planting a cotton seed to dyeing T-shirts.
This is a book that encourages being yourself. It shows that everyone is important. Great for projects with multicultural activities, bullying issues, and self worth.
I have used this bag for two years now. I wanted something that would hold everything for each student in guided reading. This saves times and helps me as well as the students stay organized.
