This is a five station activity in which students order celebrities in order from least to greatest or greatest to least. All the values for the celebrities are real numbers. Allow your students to have fun while they practice TEK 8.2D.

This activity is similar to 'chutes and ladders'. You are given a snakes and ladders game board and 30 question task cards. Students take turns flipping a question card and answering. If they get the question correct they get to move the number of spots indicated on the card. But watch out if you land on a snake you must slide down. First to the end wins :) All questions are modeled after the released STAAR questions 4.2G

This game is designed to play as a station with 2-4 players. Students role dice and move that number of spaces. They must answer the question if they land on draw a card. The questions mirror the 5.3H STAAR questions.

This activity is where QR codes meet task cards. It is 15 questions. The way to perform this for your students is to cut horizontally across the paper where you get the fraction, qr, and decimal all on one strip. You then cut the QR down the middle. resulting in 1/2 having the fraction and half the QR then the other 1/2 having the decimal and the other half of the qr. Students must then match the fraction to the equivalent decimal. Then they must line up the QR the best they can and it will scan

Students match the model to the fraction comparison. You will cut the QRs in half vertically. The students match the models to the comparison statement and the two 1/2s of the QR will scan if they are correct.
