I use this specials display to mark off where my students are going for specials. In our school our billingual students and our 'english' students mix for specials and are sorted into groups ABC and D. I print, laminate and then cut these out and glue them onto a decorative ribbon to display in my room. The ABCD squares I hot glue onto a clothespin. This way, every morning one of my class jobs is to put the group with the corresponding specials. This hangs in my own classroom right next to t

My own education history

I attended school primarily in Tri-Cities, Washington. As a junior in high school I participated in the district's 'running start' program where I attended college classes instead of high school classes for my last two years. I graduated from Columbia Basin College one week after I graduated from High School. I went on to Washington State University to complete my degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in math and ELL.
