About the store
In this ever changing world in which we all toil, I teach Math, Gifted and Talented Electives, and sometimes Multimedia. I currently teach middle school, but have also taught elementary and high school students, and 200 and 400 level math courses. I have also delivered professional development programs on conceptualizing large numbers (you know, like Graham's Number and others that make a googol seem like 0), and work at Rutgers University in the summers coordinating a program for gifted high schoolers.

A simple matching game for up to 30 students! Easy to play review for quadratic equations. Each student gets a card with a quadratic equation, a discriminant, or a graph. Then he/she needs to find the other 2 students whose cards all match. A successful match is an equation, discriminant, and graph for the same function. Get kids up and out of their seats and moving around! They'll automatically start working together to find their partners. 30 seconds of explanation for up to 30 minutes of a

Teaching style

The best way to sum me up is: I'm the type of teacher that wishes students a Happy Monday. :-)

Awards & shining teacher moments

Had the humble privilege of teaching a 1-2-1 student for 5 years starting in 4th grade, which included AP Calculus BC in 6th grade. Advised a junior of mine to look at NJIT. She applied and received a full scholarship to the NJIT Dorman Honors College. Was once told, "You're the first teacher to make me feel intelligent." With students like that, who needs trophies and certificates?

My own education history

BS in Commerce and Engineering, Drexel University Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, Montclair State University Supplemental graduate level mathematics courses
