I created these to go along with Envision Curriculum 3rd Grade Topic 7. These explain the different parts of a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph using the vocabulary covered in Topic 7. These are a PDF, I used our school poster maker to blow these up and create posters. I also used a marker to create arrows and highlight the pieces the box was describing. These could also easily be printed as smaller posters for the vocabulary wall.

This product has 2 documents. The first document is a paper assessment for Topic 8 of Envision 2020 3rd Grade Math. The reason for the paper copy is so they can practice skills of basic rounding and using an open number line. The Envision curriculum has online assessments, which does not allow them to create open number lines. The second document is the same document with different equations and numbers to allow for a practice page before the assessment.

I created this graph to go along with our math series which is Envision 2020. However, it could be used for any 3rd grade classroom; I just used vocabulary from our curriculum: frequency table, tally mark, scaled bar graph, and survey. This is a fun way to review or introduce bar graphs and a survey. I am having students ask 10 friends, but there are enough lines to do a whole class.
