Have students bring in water samples from around their homes: creeks, ponds, low laying areas filled with water... Students will need a microscope to examine their samples with. This editable lab handout is meant to guide students through their analysis of Protists and help students determine the environments in which Protists like to live the most. I constructed this worksheet to go with a Plant Based Microviewer Class Activity. Students use the booklet that is provided with the Microviewer Class Set as a guide while they observe the provided slides under the Microviewer Class Set. This worksheet asks questions that go along with what they see in the slides and what they read in the booklet.
