Counting Coins Center
These simple and uncluttered worksheets can be used to easily create and differentiate a center for counting coins. They can be used for assessment or review as well. There's little preparation involved, so it makes for a great activity for the last minute or a substitute! There are pages included for counting various types of coins. Brief directions for teachers are included. All you need is a container of coins- real or plastic.
1st - 5th

True or False Equations, Addition and Subtraction
These simple, easy-to-read cards have either a true or false equation on them. Students can use manipulatives or mental math to decide, then write "T" or "F" on their answer document. There are three sets, each with 1 title card, 1 direction card, 18 task cards, answer document, and answer key.

It is important to note that my materials aren't cute or decorative. I've found that when students are working on materials for younger grades than their own, they want them to be plain enough to blend into the background of classwork. There's no embarrassment when you are doing second grade work as a fifth grader when the work looks more grown up.
