After students have learned basic Microsoft Word Text and Paragraph formatting skills, and have been introduced to setting tabs and tab leaders, this makes for a solid assessment tool or practice assignment on those skills.
Teach students some practical tips on filling out a job interview. I also have my students practice the tips as we fill out a mock application form found at: https://www.careeronestop.org/Toolkit/Jobs/practice-job-application-form.aspx?practice-job-application-form.aspx=&authuser=0
Students will practice creating, resizing, deleting columns and rows, borders, merging cells, splitting cells, staggering cells, and shading cells within Microsoft Word.
This assignment is a quick check to see if your students are able to set tabs and leaders in Google Docs. Students will set tabs and different leaders to make their car tab over to align with the black racing car. It makes for a quick and easy grade AND gives students the practice they need with setting tabs and leaders.
Students will complete 5 different station labs, make predictions, graph, identify variables, and look at chemical formulas to determine what evidence of a chemical reaction can be observed.
