This is a graphic organizer that could be used to record information about the first five presidents. It is not specific to any textbook so you could use it when students research or with a reading selection. I printed it so that it made a booklet.

This covers all of the Virginia SOL US1.3 standards. It is a digital interactive "notebook". There are several sorting activities, labeling activities and graphic organizers.

This is an activity to be used before a lesson on Theodore Roosevelt. The students need very little prior knowledge. I had them record the answers to each station on a recording sheet (another item).

This is a short quiz for SOL USI.8. Could be used as a review worksheet.

Short reading for each invention with a chart to complete about before and after the invention. At then end, there is a question to help students draw conclusions about the impact of inventions.

These are task cards that small groups can use to review their notes on the geographical regions of North America. They can apply to any notes format that you have that follows the VDOE curriculum framework. I have the students complete each activity in their interactive notebook.

This is a graphic organizer that students can use to organize information about how Native American tribes work to maintain their culture. It can be used to compare the past and the present. I use this with a reading but you could easily have the students research each tribe. It is followed by two "Big Idea Questions".

This product can be used as a way to review notes.
