About the store
While obtaining my liscense to teach, I substitute taught grades PreK-12th grades. Those total five years earned gave me a wide range of experience and insight into child development and our education system. I am constantly reading and researching to find ways to help my students be the best they can be. I began this career in January of 2016. It is the most challenging and rewarding thing I've ever done. In my "previous" life, I used my bachelor's degree in business/marketing to work in the transportation industry.

Color coded 100s chart
Sometimes, they just need help seeing the patterns and repetition in math. Those transitions to the next "tens" are often a challenge. I've used this chart in class to help show the pattern for counting. I also send this home at the beginning of the year with parents to help them work with their children at home.
