I have the students complete this survey during the first week of school so that they and I know how they learn best. It works as a great ice breaker.

Students will match geometry vocabulary words to pictures and definitions. Includes angles, quadrilaterals, and triangles.

Student Interview two people about their professions. They choose a career and do research about its education and salary. They create a budget based on that salary. I use the median income for the area of the school as an example. They categorize their expenses and create a pie chart for it.
