I created this to help introduce writting friendly letters to my first grade class. It includes labeling the heading, greeting, body, closing, and signature.

This is a 46 slide powerpoint with all of the First Grade word wall words for Imagine It - Getting Started - Unit 2. The slides are on a 5 second rotation. I have a small group of students stand in a line and each student has to read the word that pops up before it changes. If they miss the word, they must stay until they are able to read one. I decrease the time as the students are more familiar with the words to increase their fluency. They LOVE this!!!

I have created these nonsense words on fun St. Patrick's Day themed cards. Students can play with together, or independently. This activity has 50 nonsense word cards. Just print, cut, and play!

I have developed 6 literacy stations for my students to go to each week. They rotate 3 times at aprox 17 minutes each.
