I taught high school math (Math 1, Math 2, and Math 3) for two years. Then I moved to middle school math where I taught 7th, 8th grade, and Math 1. After 5 years, I became a stay-at-home mom with the plan of homeschooling all of our kids.
Have student create their own shape in the 1st quadrant by drawing and writing the coordinate points. Then let them practice rotating that image 90, 180, and 270 degrees around the coordinate plane, drawing and recording the coordinate points.
2 pages for each transformation (translation, reflection, rotation, and dilation). One page showing an example on a coordinate plane. One page showing the rule in a table
Students will practice 90, 180, and 270 rotations based on the image graphed in the 1st quadrant. Students will practice by graphing the image in each quadrant and recording the coordinate points in each table. Answer key is included
Linear Function anchor charts. includes 1 page of linear graph, 1 page of linear table and 1 page of linear equation with slope and y-intercept colored coded throughout the pages
4 pages of how to graph coordinate points. Recommended to be printed on colored paper
