There are many YouTube tutorials out there, but it is impossible to vet them all and many schools have YouTube blocked by a firewall. I created a Google Slide tutorial so that my students could access the steps and learn at their own pace. The slides contain photos and detailed instructions. Experience

I currently teach K-6 Gifted & Talented pull-out enrichment classes. I am a former intermediate school math teacher (5th and 6th grades) and elementary math specialist (PK-5).

Teaching style

My favorite types of learning experiences are ones where the students are allowed to explore openly. Logic challenges and problem solving where there is more than one way to reach a solution are what I enjoy creating most. I love presenting math in fun and silly problems, and enjoy activities that allow kids to explore mathematical relationships.
