Harry Potter themed des labels are now avaliable. I personally used the Harry P font off of Dfont.com to create my name tags. We divide our class into the four Hogwarts houses and each team earns points through the year for various prizes.
At the end of the year, students get crazy! This is a fun research activity where students create their ideal vacation. They have to brainstorm places, find hotels, activities, and more, and then create a persuassive essay over why someone should go on their vacation. As an extension activity, the students can create a brochure for their vacation.
A spin on the end of the year awards. While most teachers choose awards for their students, this gives the students a voice! There are 21 different awards and students choose who in their class they think deserves each award. The teacher tallies up the results and announces it to the class with their own awards! The kids love seeing what their class votes them! I made these in black and white so that you can print on neon cardstock!
