My experience includes teaching in the classroom as well as museums and other recreational settings. Taught the "Private Eye", a grant-funded science-based curriculum for Tucson's school system Worked with Boston Schools teachers to design exhibits for the Children's Zoo and for the Zoomobile Coordinated workshops for Career Education Grant Designed a mini-museum with a 5th Grade class for the Harvard Museum of Comparitive Zoology

* Hands-on Science that incorporates movement, literature, and arts and crafts. Presentations for teachers and conventions including simulation games, Readers' Theater especially famous women stories. *Designed and taught popular science programs for Tucson Children's Museum weekend programing. Coordinated talented teen volunteers. *I love teaching in libraries because the entire family gets involved. *My lesson plans are flexible and change dependent on the age-levels in the crowd and the interests of the individuals.

* Hiked Appalachian Trail - Georgia to Maine * Hiked Long Trail - Canada to Massachusetts * Wrote 50 monthly articles for children's newspaper, to teach parents in how to instruct hands-on activities. *Developed educational books that were sold at the Children's Museum, Girl Scout events & Tucson Libraries! * Designed & coordinated Naturalist Badges for Sahuaro Girl Scouts focused on games & crafts to enhance learning *Junior Ranger Badges from Chiricahua National Monument, Redwoods National Park, Arches National Park & Oregon State Parks. Over 50 Junior Ranger Badges in total!
