I am a 5th-grade math and science teacher with 18 years of teaching experience, including 13 years in 5th grade. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners and understand the challenges of balancing rigor, engagement, and time constraints in the classroom.

My teaching style is rooted in making math meaningful, accessible, and engaging for all students. I focus on building conceptual understanding while also providing structured practice so students can gain confidence and independence. I hold a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and have spent my career continuing to grow as an educator through classroom experience, collaboration, and ongoing professional learning. My focus has always been on strengthening my understanding of math instruction, upper-elementary standards, and effective strategies to support diverse learners.
