This is a template to make it easier for students. They just have to colour it in with alternating colours per line. You can find examples on the web, but they are difficult for primary students. This is a bit of a cheat:) for an Op Art Unit.
These are a few sheets to help students learn how to write a limerick. It is easy to follow and gives students all the structure and scaffolding they need to write their own limerick. There are some sample limericks giving on page 5.

I print these on 11 x 17 paper. They are colourful and look great in portfolios or on a bulletin board. I use online research for much of this. The website Pebble Go is a great website that reads the information about each landform. This is perfect for the lower grades and non readers. Everyone can be successful. This can be a worksheet or an assessment.
I created this for a school wide Minute to Win It Event. The gym was set up with all the stations. Each class booked a time and took 45 minutes to an hour to go through all the stations. We played the one minute timer for each station. It made it very exciting and told the kids when the station was over and it was time to go to the next station. We gave instructions before beginning that if straws, spoons, to popsicle stick were put in mouths, they need to go in the garbage can provided. W

This is a great bundle with extra practice sheets and fun games to help kids read and write long vowels. I turn the worksheets into little booklets so I can use it as a guided reading booklet and an independent workbook. I am using them in my RTI class. The kids love the predictability and I love the fact that they know what to do and I can work quietly with smaller groups. There is a pre and post assessment so I can track progress and add the work to portfolios and report cards. Any comment

Fun experiment for kids. Went well with our adaptations unit. I began the lesson by playing the Happy Feet video, Under Pressure. We watched a few videos about blubber after this.
This workbook is meant to give students an opportunity to practice the reading concepts learned through the Tattum Reading Program and Orton Gillingham. If possible, printing in colour will help with the vowel sounds. I have used the FAST board colours so the connection is easier for the kids to make. It is very visual. It has great spelling lists that allow students to practice independently, in a group, or one on one. This is a wonderful resourse for RTI or any other reading intervention
Non-fiction text features cut and paste activity. There are two styles to choose from. It could also be used as an assessment piece or a text. I have put the answers on a separate page. This way the kids don't cut up the original page and make it look imperfect. I will be putting it in my students' portfolios.

This can be used as a workesheet or a portfolio piece. It could be used in intermediate or primary grades. I like that kids can elaborate as much or as little as they want. This works really well with the BC curriculum, especially grade 2. Early finishers can colur in the body. You can cut out the strips and the kids can cut and paste them into the right area. This is good to do in partners or as a whole group.
Print on 11x17 paper. These are a great assortment of animal research projects. The kids love to research interesting animals. I like to let each student choose the animal that interests them. We use books and the internet to do our research. Animals included are: rattlesnake, cobra, anacondo, tarrantula, gecko, bearded dragon, ant, praying mantis, frog, painted lady butterfly, blue morpho butterfly, hummingbird, killer whale, dolphin, salmon, octopus, axolotl, turtle, camel, giraff, elepha

I have made these assessment forms to go in portfolios. I did an example of a grade 2 math form including the curricular competencies and content standards. I made a few different forms depending on how many things you are assessing for a given subject. There is a line at the top for a title. I think the forms a pretty self explanatory. I attach evidence to the back of the form and place in the e-portfolio or paper portfolio. If you want me to custom make one for you, just buy my download
