This a memory game that your students can practice their abbreviations as a center. I print the words on one color card stock and the abbreviations on another color card stock. I then laminte the card stocks and the students play the game memory by matching the word with the abbreviation.

Here is a memory book that you can use for your kindergartners. It includes:
-Information Page
-1st day of kindergarten (I take pictures of my students on the 1st day holding a sign) and I put these pictures on this page.

-Autographs (Have your students sign one page and photo copy with the signatures when you make the copies of the book.
Each week my student learn a new letter and words that begin with the letter. The students brainstorm all the words that they can think of that starts with the letter of the week. Then I have my students practice writing the lowercase and uppercase of the letter and then write 3 words that go with that picture. When students are done, I have them write other words on the back.
Center Activity: Have the student write a sentence using a noun. This have the student rewrite the sentence but using a pronoun. Then have the students illustrate the sentence.
