I am going to use this resource to assess my students on being able to count the number of objects provided and to write the correct number to go with the objects. You also, could usethis resources as a homework assignment.

Each week my student learn a new letter and words that begin with the letter. The students brainstorm all the words that they can think of that starts with the letter of the week. Then I have my students practice writing the lowercase and uppercase of the letter and then write 3 words that go with that picture. When students are done, I have them write other words on the back.
A chart that provides the students with a situation and the student writes: what they know, clues, and what will most likely will happen next.
