This is a great way to assess. You can put each list in a folder and have the student read the word. Hi-light the word if they get it correct. Send the words they miss home and have them work on it. Then use the checklist as an ongoing assessment of sigh words.

Use these sight word phrases to help your students practice their sight words as well as fluency. Put them on index cards and have your students practice reading the phrases.
