This is a handout that I give to students after they have written a narrative rough draft. It gives examples of specific improvements they should make in their writing.

This is a handout for students to guide them in writing a book talk. They then share the book talk with the class. It contains two sample book talks for "The Lightning Thief" and "Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life". It also contains a checklist for what should be included in the book talk.
