A graphic organizer designed to help English Language Learners with the vocabulary for Ecosystems in Environmental Science and Earth Science. A vocabulary list is included to allow the student to see the terms; however, space is provided for to write the vocab word, providing additional practice in writing.

This is a lesson for suited for WIDA ACCESS Level 1 and 2 English Language Learners, however, it can be used for any introductory pH lesson. The lesson begins with the idea of splitting a water molecule and the resulting ions. Next the pH scale is covered, then a short lab using stations where pH of different substances is measured. The substances used are at the teacher's discretion. The lab report is written in a simplified scientific investigation format.

This is an quick graphic organizer to help English Language Learners with vocabulary words. The table is divided into three columns, one for the English word, one for the first language word, and a column for a drawing or explanation in the first language. The table has an example in the first line.
