Students will read and solve marshmallow themed subtraction word problems using many tools. They may choose to show their work on a number line, double ten frame, or by drawing a picture. Students will be engaged while learning to fully conceptualize subtraction!

This independent resource can be used after reading a decodable or guided reading book in small groups. Create a sentence with your students. Rearrange the sentence within the cut out boxes, focusing on skills your students have been working on. Students will cut and paste the sentence in the correct order, practice their handwriting by rewriting the sentence, and draw a picture to show their sentence.
