Utilize kinesthetic learning to improve consonant recognition. I laminate and punch out the holes, but you could also use them with clothespins. Once you print, you can affix labels with the correct answer or just use a yellow highlighter to highlight from the back to make it self-checking.

Use these cards to include a kinesthetic review to short vowels. Can be used as a small group activity or as a center- the back of the card makes for easy student 'self-checking.' There are 4 cards for each short vowel sound. Twenty cards in all.

I made these to help my students build automaticity with their sight words. I've used Dr. Fry's list and broken them into groups of 5 with reviews. Students use a 30-second sand timer and read the chart as quickly and fluently as they can. Each sheet is set up for 4 nights of practice. Could be used to increase parent involvement, for homework, and even literacy stations.
