I graduated from SIU-Carbondale in 1992 with a degree in English Education. I have taken graduate coursework in Literature at SIU-E, Washington University, and Governor's State University.

Not only am I a teacher, but I'm also a wife, and a mother of two. I am a part-time Pilates instructor and devoted tennis enthusiast.
