About the store

Experience

As a school counselor, educator, and lifelong learner, my store is dedicated to providing high-quality, research-informed, and practical resources for educators, counselors, and students. Drawing from my years of experience in counseling, teaching, and academic advising, I create tools that support student success, social-emotional development, academic achievement, and college/career readiness. Every product is designed to be both professional and user-friendly, rooted in best practices from both counseling and education.

Teaching style

My teaching and counseling style is student-centered, practical, and holistic. I believe in creating supportive environments where students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning and growth. I use a combination of structured planning tools, reflective exercises, and skill-building strategies that help students succeed academically while also developing self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience. My resources are designed to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Throughout my career, some of my proudest moments have involved seeing students overcome challenges, achieve personal goals, and grow into confident learners. I've had the honor of guiding students to successful college admissions, helping struggling students regain academic footing, and supporting families in navigating complex educational journeys. My most rewarding experiences are those where I see students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

My own education history

I hold a Ph.D. in Counseling, a Master’s degree in Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Government. My interdisciplinary academic background allows me to approach education from multiple perspectives — combining expertise in counseling, psychology, education policy, and the social sciences to create well-rounded, evidence-based resources for both educators and students.

Additional biographical information

In addition to my formal training, I have taught social studies and history, and I actively engage in ongoing professional development related to student mental health, executive functioning, college counseling, and DEIJB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging) work. My professional journey has included working with diverse student populations, leading academic success programs, supporting students with learning differences, and developing comprehensive counseling resources for school settings.
