Use this tool to automatically create impact statements that are compliant when writing the Present Levels of Performance for IEPs. Statements are automatically generated to use accurate and appropriate language to state how a student's eligibility affects their learning. Also, statements automatically include the students name and grammatically correct pronouns. How to use: There are directions on the spreadsheet itself, as we as below: First, write the name of the student in the top line.

This is a worksheet I have used in my class for years. It's a great way to preview / review vocabulary for this selection from the 4th Grade Reading Street book (or any reading of Because of Winn Dixie). I have personally used this to preview vocabulary as a class, allowing students to learn the new words, develop understanding by finding examples and non-examples, and of course to draw a picture to activate those visual learners! This graphic organizer was designed to use a combination of the

A great checklist to use for any story-based writing in the elementary grades. I've used it for Personal Narrative and Story writing in the 4th Grade. Can also be used as a Rubric! That way students know exactly what you are looking for in their writing. Great when used in tandem with an Editing Checklist!

This is a great activity for the first day of school. Students bring in objects from home to fill brown paper bags, and present them in class the next day. Included: - Assignment sheet to go over in class and send students home with - Presentation worksheet that students will fill out while watching their classmates present - Grading rubric for scoring student presentations
